My Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year..... Days when we get to our hometown. As my hometown is in Tg. Balai Karimun, I have to go there to fulfill my duty as one of the wang's family. Like other families, we have to undergo our relationship with our families.
I went by plane on the last friday. Because Tg. Balai is a very small island, and it doesn't have any airport, so we had to land on Batam. From Batam, we took a ferry to Tg. Balai. The trip with the ferry wasn't good. They were forcing many people in to the ship. The ship was probably only enough for 200 people, but they forced 275. So many people don't have sits, including me. It was also hot there at the ship, but it is hotter at the island it self.
After half an hour trip, we finally arrived at the island.Some of my mother's friends had already prepared some cars for us. So we went on to my father's older brother's home. The home was used as both a home and a place for furniture trading. But still, it's a good place for us to stay. After relaxing for hours, we finally began the journey around the island. We have to visit all families that we had known. This was really tiring. For 2 days, we continued doing these until we had visitted all the families we have known.
When the new years eve came, we had to stay until midnight, and had a feast with our big families. The feast was very nice, I don't know what the name of the food, but we dipped some raw food, and wait until the food became cooked, the we ate it together. There was also a food that is roughly mixed using everybody's chopsticks. It was amazing.
At the second day of the chinese new year, my family came back to Bandung. It was really a fun journey.
